Although Louis Vuitton is a stage at the Baselworld Watch & Jewellery Show earlier this year, its association with watches began in 2002. Some people say that Louis Vuitton is pulling tiger skins to make a big banner, relying on their own fame and wealth to only play the ticket in the watch field; others have rationally analyzed the impact of the birth of Louis Vuitton watches on the bezel. Positive and positive, the products it launches are not simple adaptations, but celebrities with excellent internal quality. This rational and positive point of view makes sense: From Jou x Perret to Dubois Depraz, with the help of these expert movement makers, Louis Vuitton’s watchmaking technology is constantly changing.
Louis Vuitton spent three days showing the latest models of its Tambour watch series, and the selected display address is also unique-on a cruise ship, which is closely related to the ‘tourism culture’ advocated by the brand. For this exhibition, Louis Vuitton is also full of confidence and ambition. Applying the words of the brand’s global chairman and chief executive officer, Jia Shijie, this time “this is a milestone in the history of Louis Vuitton watchmaking and has witnessed Louis Vuitton’s profound professional watchmaking knowledge and skills.”
